What is the Fuel Cell Technology Institute?

The Fuel Cell Technology Institute is a two-day workshop that addresses the basics of fuel cell technology, the spectrum of fuel cell types, and the market opportunities (stationary, mobile and portable) and challenges for fuel cells – including the hydrogen infrastructure.

FCTI draws on the experience of national experts from industry, government and academia including: Air Products and Chemicals, FuelCell Energy, Plug Power, SiemensWestinghouse, U.S. Department of Defenses’ Fuel Cell Program, U.S. Department of Energy and the National Fuel Cell Research Center (UC Irvine).

In addition to the CEU accredited coursework, there will be a Reception/Tour at the National Fuel Cell Research Center (UC Irvine) and a tour of the fuel cell installation at the Ford Design Center.
