Hydrogen Workshop (optional)
1:15-5:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2005

Mojave Learning Center
Wyndham Palm Springs Hotel

President George W. Bush and California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger have independently launched programs in support of an emerging hydrogen economy. They speak of Hydrogen Highways, fuel cell vehicles, and reducing petroleum dependency. What exactly does that mean?

Join Dr. Jack Brouwer, associate director of the National Fuel Cell Research Center, and Dave McCarthy, Air Products and Chemicals’ commercial manager, for an informative overview. Together, they will help you understand the properties of this fuel, the challenges associated with its production, various models for transporting hydrogen, and issues surrounding the creation of infrastructure that will be required for its storage and delivery, as well as the planning and safety issues involved.

See the Registration page for more information about costs.
