Power Electronics for Fuel Cells Workshop

August 8-9, 2002

Sponsored by the National Fuel Cell Research Center

Purpose:

The goal of this workshop is to bring together a group of university professors to provide leadership in the area of power electronics in terms of research, development, and application of fuel cells for power generation. Power electronics is a key element that interfaces fuel cells with the power system. In our workshop, we will discuss R&D [top of page]ics in power electronics for fuel cells, identify potential areas for collaboration, discuss the research priorities by federal and state representatives from the U.S. Department of Energy (US DOE), California Energy Commission (CEC), and the California Air Resources Board (CARB), US Army, and National Laboratories.
