» Universities involved in Fuel Cells
The NFCRC is organizing research groups to bring together key researchers from Universities and National Laboratories in order to focus on critical technology areas that are in need of research and development in order to hasten the advancement of fuel cells. The specific focus areas are: (1) materials, (2) systems and controls, (3) power electronics, (4) fuel processing, (5) manufacturing, and (6) simulation.
The NFCRC will organize and sponsor several activities, including:
- Hosting workshops to: (1) prioritize needed R&D [top of page]ics
for the U.S. DOE, NSF and other state and federal agencies, and
(2) to establish collaborative R&D efforts between universities,
national labs, industry and agencies
- Organizing technology and personnel exchanges amongst participants
- Establishing links to web-sites describing fuel cell R&D
efforts
- Establishing a regular interactive workshop on Fuel Cell [top of page]ics with special invited guest lecturers
Three of six workshops have been held to address these issues:
Controls for Fuel Cells: April 3-4, 2003
