The NFCRC considers the education of the marketplace and the training of the professional population on the technical and socio-political issues associated with the development and deployment of advanced power generation technology to be of critical importance.
The NFCRC addresses these issues through a number of channels:
- Academic Programs through University of CA, Irvine. The director and associate Director of the NFCRC both teach classes in fuel cell fundamentals as well as advanced [top of page]ics through the undergraduate and graduate engineering program at UCI. In addition, a number of UCI courses address issues specific and general to fuel cells.

Short Courses
- The NFCRC conducts a number of fuel cell-related courses and workshops including:
- Fuel Cell Technology Institute - a 2 day workshop
- Fuel Cell Course in conjunction with the Fuel Cell Seminar
- Fuel Cell Hybrid Tutorial in conjunction with ICEPAG, an APEP sponsored event
NFCRC Center
Introductory Seminars. The NFCRC welcomes a number of visitors each week, ranging from small groups of 2-3 up to 100.
