Research at the NFCRC is accomplished through a collaborative effort with our industry and public sector members, in order to address and accelerate the development issues necessary to facilitate the commercialization of fuel cell technology, products and their integration.
Current research projects include:
Systems
Systems research consists of studies that address substantial systems development strategies for fuel cell technologies.
Operation
Operations research addresses the operation of fuel cells, and fuel cell systems including the balance of plant, reliability, maintainability, grid connectivity, and operability.
Analyses
Analyses research encompasses the wide variety of analyses required to understand and improve upon the fundamental operation of fuel cell systems and the corresponding impacts of fuel cell technologies in the marketplace.
